Note: Members of the tribe were classified in two subfamilies. The genera Aslamidium, Calliaspis, Imatidium, Parimatidium, Stilpnaspis, and Spaethaspis were traditionally classified within Cassidinae, and most members of the genus Demotispa within Hispinae. Monros and Viana (1947) synonymized the cassidine tribe Imatidiini with the hispine tribe Cephaloleini. In our manual only species traditionally placed in Cassidinae of old sense have been included.
